EVOLUTIONARY HAIR DYNAMICS
Michael Z. has been in this industry over thirty years doing hair shows and platform work for Clairol International. He has spent the last several years developing his unique style of sculpting and custom hair color.
"I have dedicated my life to changing the way hair is done. I have spent thousands of dollars, many years and took millions of pictures. I am obsessed over studying the pictures and analyzing how to improve posture, bone structure, double chins, skin complexion, aging lines, hair loss, big noses, body posture, head shapes, self esteem by helping people to appear younger, thinner, sexier and healthier."
Michael believes that the hairstyling techniques that are taught today are the same ones that have been taught for decades. “It doesn’t make sense to just pull hair out away from the head and cut it in a straight line. If you were designing a dress, you wouldn’t just hang the material on a person and cut it straight across the bottom. I relate the hair to clothing because it’s all material. The material on your head can affect the perception of your facial bone structure, your profile and your posture."
He continues... "That’s why I developed the Z-Cut. Finally, a technique and philosophy that work, so you don’t have to.”
Michael Z’s goal is to teach his Z-Cut technique to hairstylists around the world so that their clients can look younger, thinner, sexier and healthier like his do.

Michael Z Salon is located at 5900 S. Tamiami Trail in Sarasota, just South of Phillippi Mansion Park on US 41.
From I-75 - Exit at Clark Road and head west 4 miles to US 41. Turn right (north) on US 41 and head north approximately 3/4 mile. We are located on your left in the DeSears Plaza.
From Venice - Head north on US 41 past the intersection of Stickney Point (Clark Road). We are approximately 3/4 mile ahead on your left in the DeSears Plaza.
From Bradenton - Head south on US 41 past the Phillippi Creek Mansion Park. We are approximately 1/4 mile ahead on your right in the DeSears Plaza.
